I Think There's a Trade Off to Unalloyed Transparency
There's a recognition that more could have been done by these agencies at an earlier time. And transparency in this area may not be an unalloyed good. I do think the government's response to the accusations has been far too counterterrorism focused. Is almost instinctive to pop up with a c t story in defence of anything this is abot. But let i wo also want to talk about the the degree to whish inarticulately in talking about the need to monitor various electrons.
