The Merman From the Folklore of Pretty Much Everything

The merman is seriously a mixed bag. The mermaid, from the folk lore of ireland and scotland at is a hunched and wrinkled old man with beady little pig eyes and hair that's almost indistinguishable from seaweed in texture. Their breath reeks of rotting fish, which i guess makes sense when you think about their diet and likely lack of dental hygiene under the sea. Also, nose and cheeks are generally flushed and red, because after they find a shipwreck, or wreck a ship they find, they'll immediately consume all the alcohol on board. And if being generally s wasn't enough, they keep sailors soles in lobster pots under the water.
