The Resurrection of Jesus
The death of Jesus. The women who had followed him from Galilee saw the tomb and how his body was laid. And he said to them, truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise. But Peter rose and ran to the tomb, stooping and looking in,. He saw the linen cloths by themselves, and he went home wondering at what had happened. When they were perplexed about this, behold two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. They said: Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but as risen.
