There was just this sense of denial that that this was going to happen. And, you know, i think at an earlier stage it would have been wiser to have talked to people about what might be about to become. But in a specific sense as well, they found themselves in a very tricke on because it was only really quite a short time before the invasion. It's its 37 million strong population towards russia and towards its own, its own government.
