How to Change Your Narrative

In a Chinese American household, the actual translation of freckle in Chinese is fly a shit. So it's like fly poops on your face. I grew up not liking my freckles. And then now this all upset an entrend freckle. This is a different narrative. It's coming from a new source, an external source. Yeah, it's coming from social media or a trend or like an era in time where this is now in and accepted. But that was something that I felt insecure about because you wanted a clean face without blemishes or freckles...I just couldn't help it.
