I had to convince people that Sexy Back was my song. I agreed to shoot a video for the second single within two weeks of putting the song out, so we'd have a second single ready to go if the song didn't work. My favorite thing to do at dinner time was to make my parents laugh in any way possible. Donald O'Connor was every bit as impressive to me as Jean Kelly in Singing in the rain. It's only human to get caught up sometimes and how something's received. People will judge it and people will like it or not like it. But you can't be responsible for that. You're meant to challenge yourself.
