Is It Time to Deploy AI?

I think it will take much of the next three to five years to really build momentum in that arena because medicine historically changes quite slowly. You look at the speed at which our tech companies change the hardware every year, they have new things. And then look at how fast the hardware, let's say, of a defibrillator has changed. It doesn't change at that kind of speed. But there's actually no reason why it wouldn't other than the fact that medicine has to move more slowly because of regulation and because of rigorous trials are required. So I think that five years is probably a good time period in which to think about the future really changing.
