It was important to me if given the opportunity that the show takes place in the world, which is kind of psychologically defined by Idris Elg. But it's not, and was never intended to be a realistic portrayal of everyday London. As the season goes on, they seem to get more and more acute as we go along. Is there an element of exorcism to this? Like you're almost like probing your darkest sort of fears and manifesting them through the show.
