The merging of business and philanthropy has become a frequent talking point in recent years. At its best, philanthropic capitalism does some important work - but at its worst it can do more harm than good. In this way, figures like Mr Beast can sometimes end up spreading corporate messages believing that they're doing good or contributing to even more harm.
