Why I Want an 8K Camera?

The ability to down sample the 8K and just get a nicer looking image is what the C500 does now. The best benefits are coming from having a great capture because, you know, Netflix shows are shot on Alexa's or Reds - that's what makes it look so good. Anybody that's shooting 8K because they think that resolution matters is doing it for the wrong reasons and does not need this camera.
