Why You Shouldn't Optimize for Follower Counts
People tend to over-optimize for follower counts in what they do, and that results in many low-quality followers. Optimizing for follower count alone does not create meaningful relationships. Don't gloss over the depth of the connections you forge, even if it's just on Twitter. They are still actual relationships. And that means it's a huge mistake to put quantity over quality.
