Berlin's History Affects Its Economy

Berlin is now the second most expensive city in Germany to rent an apartment. The new mayor Kai Veganer who will take office most likely in a month plays a big emphasis on law and order making the city work as he's put it. Berlin really is a distinctive capital city, it's quite different than say Britain or France or even Spain if you think about the way in which economic geography works in these European countries. We may be doing a live recording in Berlin in May at some point so we'll give more details about that later.
