The Retroviruses Are Often Inducing Mutations in the DNA

In the past, you've suggested that it's not so much the microbes themselves that create many of our symptoms, but rather our immune systems. Does that same concept hold true with retroviruses? Is it our immune systems response to them that creates the problem or is this different and it's actually the retrovirus itself? It is different. The retroviruses have been found to actually modulate our DNA. They can create denovo mutations of MTHFR. And then our whole mechanism of life functions differently from what it is supposed to do.
