The Art of Satisfaction
The best satire goes after faulty logic, which in the current political landscape is fantastic. I like to remind people that Stephen Colbert used to say, George W. Bush, great president or greatest president. That is just perfect because that helps the audience. It does all this cognitive work. And so under, you know, when we're hearing about alternative facts and we're this and that it isn't just that we were being lied to; it's the logic that was being used.
