Is There a Critical Size for Experimentation?

At what point do you recommend companies to start experimentation? Is there a critical size? What do you need? And there are bonds minimum to really get into experimentation? Yeah, I think it's quite a dangerous myth that you have to be a big organisation to do experimentation. Small businesses and particularly startups are in a way businesses that need experimentation the most because they're trying to find which way to turn like a speedboat.
