The Importance of Continuous Coaching for Sales Engineers
Most companies don't invest in those sales engineers, skills training. Even if they do, it's there for three weeks and then the SE is back to the other all. Sales engineer managers are so busy with many other things that their job is mostly to put up fires or do like couples counseling when you have accounts, account managers and SEs tied together. The only coaching I see for salespeople specifically and even SEs are for those who are struggling.
