How Do You Overcome the Challenge of Getting People to Trust You?

I'm clearly had I come from a Ghanaian context for example if I and I looked like them and I could I could speak the native West African languages. That would have been a leg up in many ways don't get me wrong that would have been helpful but given that I couldn't do that there are other ways uh to present oneself that that gains trust. If you can overcome the kind of you know ego blow that that might do to yourself it really helps. Most people want to help a sad puppy lost in the woods and I just sort of presented myself as a sad puppylost in the woods and they were very very helpful.
