The Importance of Quantum Computers
In 2019, this was the year we achieved quantum supremacy. This is essentially when a quantum computer runs an algorithm and computes the solution to a problem that could never have been computed on a digital computer before the death of the universe. It's really important because it's kind of a landmark groundbreaking moment in our history. So I would argue that it's only a matter of time before we start moving this line higher and higher and higher until the point where essentially quantum mechanical principles are at play in neural activity.
