A 22 caliber handgun fitted with a silencer was found in the trunk of a stolen car. The police officer who discovered it was the first time he'd ever seen such a weapon on the streets. A husky middle-aged man suddenly emerged from out of the store and approached the officers. He told them that the man who'd taken the vise was his friend and that had all been a simple misunderstanding. To try and smooth things over, the man said he'd already gone ahead and paid for the vise. Basically suggesting they all just forget about the whole thing and move on.
