Many lawyers work until they're eighties, usually men. My mentor at my old law firm worked until the day he died at 85. It's one of those professions you don't need to be physically in a certain vigor and can still practise law. Unlike other industries that have they'll come up with a nice little retirement package for you and force you to quit at 65. That doesn't happen in the legal world. If you're not saving yourself for retirement, it doesn't happen. I'm like this industry makes no sense whatever to anyone on the outside, but all the people on the inside like, o that's toldmy how it works.
