Is This Like a Lar Interpretation of Benjamin's Theology?
In benamin's work, there is a distinctly jewish theological sort of orientation to the divine in a way that is super, super different from what i understand all the jesus stuff to mean. In another sense, one could think about the divine here as something like, i don't know, totality maybe is like a word that can help us substitute for god. The divine is the name for this immanent possibility of a world completely, completely otherwise. But it's also somewhat beyond us because we're constantly failing to really just be our highest version of humanity and see things differently.
