The strain of Korea in which the digital is more important than the physical self is something that I think has come to pass in the United States. AI tools are now being used to make TikTok effects and Instagram filters. And those effects and filters are showing or exemplifying the beauty pillars of the day. It's smoothness, it's plumper lips, it's very made up eyes, it's arched eyebrows. It's a slimmer jaw line.
