The Importance of Signaling

In some sense, if somebody is thinking about signaling when they're talking to you, they're thwarting your aspirational goal. Right, and their own as well. And so the explanations that I'm gonna value are gonna be ones that have that effect for me. For me, the thought you have to put the explanation aside when you're actually engaged in the activity that it's supposed to explain, that's a very bad sign about an explanation.
