The director took a lot of liberties, including moving this from chicago to philadelphia. Livi jon had to be sewn into her leather trousers at the end of the movie because a zipper broke. The opening beach scene that the malbu spa juliet mentioned is leo corillo state beach. It was described by one crew member as being much grittier and looking like something martin scarsase would have directed. Camera work on this movies is really at that level.
