The Cornichone Pizza

A beautiful margarita pizza has just been placed on the red and white checked table cloth here in the corner booth. So this is what we call the cornichone. This is the risen edge crust. And the coloration of it is probably two to three tones where there's some darker spots where it's a little thinner and some lighter spots where it’s a little bit thicker. As the pizza cooks the tomato is able to reduce without being trapped by a blanket of oozy gooey cheese. On top of this we also see a verdence bright green basil bits sprinkled about clearly added after the bake because they're still bright and green. Still life to them.
