The Power of Imagination

Jory Graham: We will destroy the future unless we get people, you know, awaken their bodies again. How can we develop them? What you call a carrying capacity, the ability to bear witness to the present fully? Number one, put the screen down. Number two, Dilate your sense of the present by perhaps being alone in solitude on a walk. The trees you're walking by, when you go by them, you have a human imagination. Imagine their roots. Imagine their root systems. Imagine them crossing through the soil beneath your feet, carrying sugars. That's the future when I'm writing this.
