The Meaning of the Word Cow Is Not Non Cow

The meaning of the word cow is not non cow. Now that sounds like it shouldn't get you around commitment to universals, but somehow or other, they think it can. And when you put those two kinds of negation together, it turns out you can go from a particular to a class. This is something that actually was explicitly affirmed by certain members of the naa school, not buddhists, but nakas. But there's still this difficulty that efficacy.
