Aristophanes and the Assembly Women
The communist utopian ideal is anti nature, and nature includes personal achments. You can't do away witha nature without some kind of violence, and that's the violence that we get in the comedy of the assembly women. I find this one of the most chilling and distopian endings to a play that you could imagine. It's actually a perfect portrayal of how this stuff works. This is an old quote from leo arisolus: 'If you chase nature if you stick it out' And i believe, we are constantly coming up against ourselves in our modern era of women. Is everything that we've been talking about for two years? We're not there yet. Part two
