Pope Francis considered himself an artist. He didn't even early on consider himself a philosopher, he wanted to be an actor. Pope was interested in reconnecting theological and philosophical thought with human experience but no relativist. Christians believe that the world makes sense even at times when it doesn't seem to or there is purpose and meaning to the world.
