I've sent poems to The New Yorker for about 30 to 40 years through three different editors, not every day or every year. So how did you feel when you saw your work in The New Yorker? It was nice. There still is that wall with poetry. And I keep thinking I've passed the fame wall so that it isn't quote poetry. But I haven't figured that one out. Could be the last we're waiting.
