How to Backtest Your Trading System
You have to look yourself in the mirror and decide if you need to build your own system from scratch with what you already know, rather relying on someone who appears to be successful right now. Know anybody else's system. It's okay to take bits and pieces from it. You're going to have to come up with the wrong way of doing stuff. I haven't talked about anything that's very esoteric. People don't understand me. I tell them straight. And then they look at you like wide eyed like they don't know what planet you're from. That's risk match. Then you control your losses and find your own way of doing things. So you'll build a winning strategy
