The US 38.3 Regulations on Batteries

The US 38.3 is talking about bringing in a un r100.03 and there's a lot of discussion about what will be in that. The question is why do batteries catch fire yeah either they've been significantly mechanically damaged penetrated basically you've got something sharp that's gone into the vitals of the battery or it's been abused electrically. Schieber for example so we work with them they're saying that in 2025 they're going to have commercially available an LTO battery which is the same energy density and the same price point as today's lithium-ion battery.
