The Number One Cause of ICP Increase Is Pain
In other medicine platforms, again, it's not a pre-hospital environment. We have to remember the number one cause of ICP increase is pain. If we give enough pain management, the sedation aspect will take care of itself. Be kind to your patients, go off your protocols. Remember, though, you want to push ketamine slowly. You giving it too fast can definitely have laryngeal spasms.
