The first question my son ever asked me about race was much more complicated than the question i'd been anticipating. What he was really getting at is a question that went straight to the inconsistencies ind how we define race in this riht and u, and some of the absurdity of it. As you say, we're talking about generation upon generation things that have been conscious and unconscious. And we don't know how much we carry around unconsciously. That's something we're learning about ourselves. Yes.
