The latest synologies all say that you can only use Synology branded drives in them. So even though it looks like this is a great sale, if you don't end up buying a new thing for a year, you still might have to save money in this. And beyond that, I think- It's like buying milk. Yeah, it gets like, look, it's not going to go in general. The trend is you get more megabytes for your dollar the longer you wait.
