Malig Ambar, the Events of the Mughal Empire on the Islamic History Podcast

This was a very amazing and forward thinking piece of infrastructure during this medieval period. It works so efficiently for centuries that it was able to go without maintenance all the way up until 1931 when it finally needed cleaning. As for the mughals, Emperor Jahangir died the year after Malig Ambar died. There was some conflicts between Prince Khoram and his half-brother for control of the mughal throne.
