The Importance of Reinsurance in Getting Geico Out of the Industry

Warren Buffett was interested in buying all of geico. But I don't know who in the industry would have been in a position to actually absorb that given their own problems and their size So they needed to have a way where they knew this would be enough to get geico out of this Yeah, it's really interesting first they got reinsurance first um, which helps the risk the the reserve situation and how much risk geico is taking on - but then travelers did not do the reinsurance deal.
