The far right and the american government are our bedfellows. The state does not see them as a whole, as some kind of revolutionary threat to the status quo. They understand that what they want is basically maintenance of the status quo with some lip service to conservative values. So i think that's why they're not really cracking down super hard on it. They don't want to kick the hornet's nest. Whereas the left, the communists, will always be cracked o much more heavily.
