The Two Faces of Death
If you embrace death as a stranger, it's because you're tender-minded. The more you love life, the more you will hate death. Half of our funeral rites are devoted to showing the truth and the other half is devoted to concealing it. If we could somehow replicate everything else in the human genome, take out the little programming that says, now shall't get old and die, and replace it with one that says "now shall never get old" - wouldn't that be great?
