Lactate Tests for Running

Lactate tests can determine threshold to an accuracy of 5 to 10%. But it's still much more accurate than just taking 95% of your 20-minute power. Make sure that you control these variables, like use your own bike, use your own power meter. I would find somebody who comes to your home, pay that person to take lactate samples on you while you're doing some sort of ramp test.
