The Complexity of the Society

The Chinese government has to manage a much more complex society going forward. Some economists worry that Xi is so statist, as they see it, that he's in danger of killing that entrepreneurial spirit. China wants an olive-shaped income distribution, narrow on the ends of fat in the middle. But I think in Xi's view, China doesn't want to be like the US, a great economy, but highly inequitable and politics sing to the tunes of corporates.
