The Importance of Policy in the American Revolution
The American Revolution was inspired by the ideas of Locke, not policy papers. The radical left is acting in a set of ways that are more consistent with both libertarian ethics and public choice analysis. There may actually be ways to expand human freedom that are outside of that,. Like Uber and Lyft didn't just lobby the government to move away from a taxi medallion system. They actively engaged in entrepreneurship in defiance of that existing institutional arrangement.
