The Importance of Hospitality
The word welcome is decomai in Greek and it was used for hospitality. It was the word for how you would treat a special guest with honor. We are to welcome children, but not only children, they kind of next examples, hospitality in general. In our house at home, it's very small. We have a little Christ room, that's what we call it. There's a long standing tradition in the way of Jesus particular in Benedictine spirituality.
