Are the Red Handed Tamarins Converging?

The pied tamarin's calls are very similar to those of the red handed tamarin. But when they encounter each other in their own habitat, these two vocalizations converge and sound much more like one another. This is because we're not tiny, little tamarins so our hearing sensitivity is really focused around speech which is somewhere around youn hundred to 300 hurts of frequency.
