Are You Trying to Firefight All the Emerging Problems?
If you just work in a purely emergent way, then there may be things that you miss. I like the idea of constraining yourself to narrow your field of affordances for a period of time. And actually, i think with early stage individuals who are just discovering and learning, that's perfectly applicable. But with a more advanced player, you've got to be more intentional.
