There's a real danger that softwer becomes harder to maintain, costlier to maintain and slower to develop new s overtime. You can't really know how much it costs to maintain your code until you actually go and maintain it right? So what softwore design is doing is looking for leading indicators. And so i'm trying to find a way of of making a better domain model so that your code doesn't have to be as messy,. That could lead down the road to reduced costs.
