Doctors needed to save naomi's life, and the only solution was to deliver the baby more than two months early. So she came out, but to the world. And i did get to hear her first cry, and it sounded like the tiniest little kitten. She took that breath, she made that effort, and she cried.
Doctors can save the lives of premature infants, but the process is often painful. Luckily, a solution might be as simple as a parent’s loving touch.
