The GSD Council Should Focus on Reducing Tax Labs
The GSD Council was formed for a specific purpose, right? And at this point of time, if you look at our tax system, we have multiple tax labs and there are again different kinds of exemptions. So one of the things that GSD Council should be focusing on is reducing all these ways by which firms can avoid paying taxes. The focus should be on ensuring that the sector flourishes, right? Sector grows. And that automatically will help you get higher revenues. Instead of focusing on just getting more revenue from the sector, I think it might make more sense.
