Stallone signed a non-exclusive deal with Universal in 1995. The plan was you make your three films with Universal you'll be banking 60 million dollars as it turned out he would only make one of those films called detox. He said everything that was expected I tried to just not do most importantly and Stallone talked too about an alternate ending of the movie with a different fate for his character as well. It changed its title for the UK release as well which didn't help either.
