From birth, paul was sovereignly placed in a world that equipped him for this specific ministry. Paul is incredibly humbled in the way that god designed life for ministry. God takes the man who hates christians and hates rome and makes him the foremost advocate for christ to the roman people. I mean, this is what god does. He is in the business of creating humble men and women. And this is why paul said in first timothy one 15, the saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance that christ, jesus came into the world to save sinners - i am the foremost. You might have heard the translation that he is the chief of sinners.
